Joe Pass "Relaxin' At Camarillo" Solo (Joy Spring)

• Relaxin' At Camarillo - This was one of the first Joe Pass solos I transcribed. Unfortunately, I never wrote it down, I just learned to play it. However, recently, Dirk D. from Belgium transcribed it and sent it to me. Here is Dirk's Transcription. For convenience, here is the same solo at 1/2 speed.

Transcriptions in this section were created using Coda PrintMusic! 2000. The advantage of this method is that these transcriptions are "live" in the sense that you can have them play back, speed up or slow down as well as transpose to any key.

You can view the transcriptions on this page in 3 ways:

1. If you have one of the Coda music notation programs installed - simply click the links and the music should open in your notation program.
2. You can download Coda's free notation editor called Notepad. This is a ~8Mb download, but it will allow you to create your own transcriptions as well. I have had problems with this program, as it uses a new file format and when it "upgrades" from the saved format, it seems to lose the playback information. Let me know if it doesn't work. You will also need to download the free Jazz Font from the Coda site.
3. Coda also have a much smaller (~2Mb) free Plugin just for web viewing - but I have not gotten that to work at all, so I suggest you steer clear of it.

If you click on the links and they show up in your browser window as garbage, just right-click, choose "Save Target As...", and save them to your disk, then open with your Coda program.
